The yarn I pictured yesterday (two days ago?) is Buckingham from Plymouth Yarn Company. It's 80/20 Baby alpaca and silk. Mmmmm.... soft! I started a pair of socks with a lacy turn down cuff and it's going well so far. The first row was a little dicey since the yarn seemed to be a little splitty, but it's calmed down now. Now I just have about 22 more repeats of a four-row lace pattern - easy peasy.
Has anyone ever done the Frilly Lace Sock from Lornas Laces? Should I block the lace before I seam it and pick up the slipped stitches to do the body of the sock?
